Referrals will be limited to those veterans who require extended care in intermediate care/skilled nursing care facilities and whose treatment needs fall within nursing care requirements, as defined by 42CFR409.32-.35 (1986). Must be veterans who served on active duty in the armed services of the United States, and who were discharged or released under honorable conditions or other than dishonorable conditions.
