The Utah Department of Veterans Affairs is responsible for the supervision and operation of the facility. The Department conducts its business through an onsite State Officer who is responsible for liaison with federal and state agencies and for ensuring that the contractor performs in accordance with the terms of the management contract. The Department contracts with a private nursing home management corporation to manage and operate the facility on a day-to-day basis. A Veteran’s Home Advisory Board, consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor of Utah, acts as liaison between the residents, members of the public, and the administration of the home.
