The first of four Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes, this home is located in the historic city of Murfreesboro. The 140-bed facility is conveniently situated on the beautiful campus of the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center. Centrally located in the state, the Murfreesboro Veterans’ Home is also a short drive to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, Vanderbilt Medical Center, and the VA Medical Center in Nashville. Residents and guests can often be found enjoying the scenic walking paths around campus and bird watching on one of the multiple outdoor patio spaces.
