The Veterans’ Home at Manteno has welcomed resident veterans since 1986. With an expansive campus set on 122 acres, residents and guests are welcomed by a scenic drive entering beautiful grounds with covered pavilions and a small, serene lake. The home has space for 304 residents seeking skilled nursing.
Amenities: Residents have access to an onsite library, barber and beauty shop, bank, and chapel.
Gathering spaces: Covered porches on the resident buildings give access to all four seasons. Indoor gatherings are held in large veterans’ halls and private visiting areas are available for quiet conversation and family celebrations.
Joy of Care: The Veterans’ Home at Manteno is an anchor in the community and enjoys a robust volunteer program which allows for special events and programming and keeps the veterans connected to the community.
Prince Home: The Prince Home, located on the Manteno campus, is designed for homeless veterans, and engages them in curriculum, programs, and activities. The home offers 15 veterans private bedrooms and spaces for building community and developing skills and confidence to gain independent living.
