Referrals will be limited to those veterans who require extended care in intermediate care/skilled nursing care facilities and whose treatment needs fall within nursing care requirements, as defined by 42CFR409.32-.35 (1986), with need for limited medical supervision. Must be veterans who served on active duty in the armed services of the United States, and who were discharged or released there from under honorable conditions or other than dishonorable conditions and who are South Carolina veterans.
