MICHIGAN VETERAN HOMES D.J. JACOBETTI
Marquette, Michigan
Located in the beautiful city of Marquette, near the shores of Lake Superior, we offer quality care in a home-like environment. Our family-friendly campus surrounds veterans with the support they need, with a staff that’s always encouraging wellness and independence.
- 184 members: Members will have a variety of opportunities to participate in spiritual, social, recreational and educational activities – both on-site and in the surrounding communities.
- 1 easily accessible building: This veteran-centric community features a four-story building – spanning an entire city block. That means our members have access to everything they need, without having to leave.
- A rich history: The DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans was established in 1981, in the former St. Mary’s Hospital building. What’s more, it was named for Dominic J. Jacobetti, the longest-serving member of the Michigan House of Representatives.
- Compassionate care: Every day, our extensive, professional staff focuses on long-term and short-term care, rehab and therapy, dementia and memory care, and palliative care, as well as domiciliary care services. An in-house pharmacy, pastoral care and specialty clinics (such as dental and vision care) are also available.
