State of North Dakota Eligibility Requirements
ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMEBERS:
Must be a veteran, spouse, or surviving spouse and be a bona fide resident preceding the applicant’s application for admission.
The residency requirement may be waived if the applicant served in a North Dakota regiment or was accredited to this state.
Application Process
Individuals seeking residency can submit a formal application to the admissions coordinator. All applications are processed by the Board of Admissions.
Structure & Governing board
Operated by the state and governed by the North Dakota Veterans Home Governing Board. Governing board members are appointed by the Administrative Committee on Veterans Affairs. The Commandant or Administrator of the home is appointed by the Governing Board.
Services Provided
Basic and skilled nursing care for eligible veterans, spouses and surviving spouses.
