State of New Jersey Eligibility Requirements
ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMEBERS:
Honorably discharged from last enlistment; resident of State of New Jersey for two years immediately preceding application; must be necessitous.
Application Process
Completed application for admission and 10-10-M form must be filed prior to admission. These are received from the veteran residents of the state and the East Orange and Lyons VA Hospitals.
Structure & Governing board
Home is under jurisdiction of Department of Military and Veterans Affairs of the State of New Jersey and is governed by a Veterans Facility Council appointed by the Governor. This facility is licensed to operate as a long-term care facility by the New Jersey Department of Health.
