State of Mississippi Eligibility Requirements
ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMEBERS:
Must be or have been a Mississippi resident. Peacetime veterans, spouses of veteran residents, and veterans’ widows/widowers may be admitted if space is available.
Application Process
Application forms may be obtained from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, any County Veterans Service Officer, any of the congressionally chartered veterans organizations and the Veterans Affairs Board.
Structure & Governing board
The Veterans Affairs Board, seven members appointed by the Governor, is designated, by the state law, as the governing authority. The board appoints the Executive Director. The operation of the Home is provided by the board.

Long-Term nursing care with complete medical and supporting ancillary services.
