Admission criteria and other information is available at the Homes website at www.charhall.org. Application packages are available from the Admissions Office. Structure & Governing board
Charlotte Hall Veterans Home is a program of the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA). The Maryland Veterans Home Commission provides additional oversight, and acts as an advisory body to the Secretary, MDVA. The eleven Commission members are appointed to five year terms by the Governor and confirmed by the State Legislature. The Home is operated by a private contractor, under the oversight of the State’s Director of the Home, an employee of the MDVA.
