State of Florida Eligibility Requirements
ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMEBERS:
Admission eligibility requirements include being an honorably dischrged veteran and a resident of the State of Florida for one year immediately preceding application and being in need of nursing home care that the home has the ability to provide.
Application Process
Applications are availaable from the Home or State/County Veterans Service Officers. All applications are reviewed by the interdisciplinary admissions committee.

Alexander Nininger State Veterans’ Home is a division of the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Services Provided
Nursing care; therapeutic diets; social services; activity programs; physical, occupational and speech therapy; religious services. Special Secure Unit.
