The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA) owns and governs Bill Nichols State Veterans Home, located in Alexander City, Alabama. This 150 bed facility has undergone major renovations in order to remain one of the finest facilities in the nation. The most recent improvement in 2015 added thousands of square feet of additional living area for Veterans to congregate or relax.

The Bill Nichols State Veterans Home is managed by HMR of Alabama, Inc. on behalf of the ADVA. HMR Veterans Services, Inc. has proudly provided management services to HMR of Alabama, Inc. since July of 2004.
