Representation in Federal Affairs:

  • Making sure the “Voice of the Homes” is heard in Congress
  • Maintaining liaison with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Outreach to the nation’s Veteran Service Organizations

Meetings and Conferences:

  • Discounted registration fees and excellent networking opportunities twice yearly:
    • Mid-Winter Meeting – held in Washington, D.C.
    • Summer Conference – conducted by host state

Professional Development:

  • Mid-Winter Meeting educational program offers up to 10 units of continuing education credit
  • Summer Conference educational program offers up to 17 units of continuing education credit

  • Website to provide current association information
  • Internet-based, peer-to-peer information sharing for members-only on management best practices and other operational needs
