President's Message

NASVH President

Welcome to the NASVH Website! Our mission is "Caring for America's Heroes" by promoting and enhancing the quality of care and life of Veterans and families in State Veterans Homes through education, networking, and advocacy. NASVH serves 156 State Veterans Homes across all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

The Executive Committee continues to work to improve the Association's outreach, effectiveness and influence in promoting change and shaping policy to improve Veterans' long-term care. Strategic priorities include increasing resources and capacity, building relationships and strengthening partnerships, and increasing membership engagement.

This year, NASVH held its summer conference in San Antonio, Texas. The conference was a tremendous success with more than 140 members and 68 exhibitors in attendance, as well as a total of 20 CEU offerings. In addition, more than 40 family members and guests participated in the family programs. The winter conference will be February 11 - 15, 2019, at the Embassy Suites Alexandria Old Town.
